Saltillo and Terracotta products are porous yet when installed and maintained properly they will give an Old-World Charm which will last for many generations. Elon recommends sealing all Terracotta Products before & after grouting with a quality low sheen sealer. Sealers should be re-applied according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Only pH neutral cleaners specifically designed for Terracotta should be used. Avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners. Wipe up spills promptly to prevent staining.
